The course aims to expose graduate students to some of the tools they will need to succeed as a PhD student and as scientists and to discuss concerns and issues that affect all successful scientists. Additionally, through discussions the in-person NSF/NIH requirements for Responsible Conduct for Research (RCR) training will befulfilled.
