Introduction to linear systems theory focusing on linear algebra and feedback design. Topics include state space representations of systems, equivalent realizations of linear systems, the Jordan canonical form, controllability,   observability and   the Kalman decomposition,  and feedback design for eigenvalue assignments based on state feedback and Luenberger observers.  Credit will not be awarded for both ECE 6550 and AE 6530.
