Catalog Description

States compete over artificial intelligence, semiconductors, quantum technologies, and control of the internet. This course examines how science and technology shape strategic competition and international order, and how geopolitics shapes the technologies themselves. From nuclear weapons to AI, students develop an analytical toolkit to assess any technology's significance for international affairs, including those still emerging.
