This interdisciplinary, project-based course challenges students to engineer a low-cost scanning LiDAR system from the ground up and integrate it into a fully autonomous RC vehicle-based testbed. Students will work in collaborative teams to bridge the gap between hardware and software, focusing on the precision of laser-based sensing and the logic of autonomous navigation.
