Catalog Description

This course supports doctoral research in materials research, with emphasis on semiconducting polymers and related functional materials. Students conduct original research involving synthesis, characterization, and device integration, while developing skills in data analysis and scientific communication. Progress is assessed through regular advisor meetings and dissertation milestones. Through independent research on semiconducting polymers and functional materials, students evaluate and address real-world challenges in sustainable electronics, energy conversion, and resource-efficient manufacturing.
