Social, political, economic, and cultural history of Europe since the Renaissance. Topics include; the Reformation; political, scientific, and industrial revolutions; nationalism, fascism, and Communism; decolonization, World War I and II, and the aftermaths.
Critical thinking, ethical reasoning, information literacy, inquiry and analysis, intercultural competence, perspective-taking, persuasion, problem-solving, teamwork, time management will all be incorporated into the course.
