Individual research will involve guided research in the areas of cybersecurity and AI, and their intersection. 

Individualized study or research on selected topics under faculty supervision. Content varies by student and may include literature review, method development, or applied research. May be repeated for credit.
 

This course provides academic credit for independent studies under the direction of a faculty member. The scope and direction of the studies are determined by the student (or small group of students) in consultation with the course instructor.

Introduction to cross-disciplinary microelectronic packaging technologies, including electrical design, thermal considerations and technologies, reliability, optoelectronic packaging, and RF-/mm-packaging. Crosslisted with ME and MSE 6776.

This course covers advanced approaches for the analysis of malicious software and explores recent research and unsolved problems in software protection and forensics.

Capstone independent study project placing each student in a commercial, academic or government setting where he or she identifies a major cyber security problem, and explores and evaluates a solution that addresses it with realistic assumptions about the organizational context. The chosen problem must be approved by course instructor.
